Getting to Ica

Overview: Ica is situated on the central part of the arid Peruvian coast. It is an important tourist destination. The Nazca Lines aren't far away to the southeast and there are several other interesting attractions, such as oases in the deserts near Ica.

Latitude: 14º 4' S

Longitude: 75º 44' W

By Air: There are no airports close to Ica, except the ones in Lima and Nazca.

By Rail: There are no railway lines here

By Road: By bus, you can get to Ica from Lima in about 5-6 hours. The trips to or from Nazca will last about 3 hours. You will also find bus connections to other cities, including Arequipa and Pisco.
